Remember when Bosmer had horns?

One of the male Bosmer preset faces in Morrowind had some horns protruding from his forehead. What was with that?

Not sure, but I think there's a horny bosmer in the 1st PGE concept art. Maybe something to do with the wild hunt?

There's that odd fantasy staple where elves tend to be ... chameleon-like (?) compared to humans. Lamarck's biology and stuff. Become your environment. Dunmer stepped away from that motif, sort-of, where their ashskin was not so much a cause of the volcano but a god's punishment.

Bosmer though. I've always thought they were the feral barbarians of modern elves (in TES). They all have vixen fox cheekbones in A Dance in the Fire (granted, it's the deluded misadventure of a panic-ridden minimum wage clerk). Chalk up to the dangers of Valenwood and maybe a dash of Wild Hunt, said above.

The Maomer are similar, come to think of it. They're pale and glossy, like ... jellyfish? Shrimp? Become the old merris they drink and remember :>

I liked how the Bosmer females were beautiful and the males were ape-ish.

Yeah that was kind of cool.

Horns make everything better.
