Reminder for the playstation fans. WAIT WAIT WAIT !

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 4:03 pm

TechGarbage, did it ever occur to you that reviewers are playing in on the PS4 and that it was tested on the PS4 as well? You make a ton of ASSumptions, such as that the team went on vacation...care to prove this, or are you just making yourself look like a complete fool? Understand that the issues that Skyrim had with the PS3 were PS3 issues that took some time for the team to figure out and like others said, the PS4 is a very different system which shouldn't pose the same issues as the PS3 did. It's borderline arrogant to come on and tell people to hold off (because of a technical issue that happened for one game) so that they don't "come crying on the forums". I fully support your decision to not buy the game, but I do not support anything else you've said.

It doesn't have magically more ram to use for the game correct.

That's weird then. My "broken" one worked just fine, in fact I got the platinum for the game.

FYI for all you "It was broken" people. The label side of the disc goes in face up. Maybe that was the issue.

I have a PS4 and plan on getting it day 1.

I'm pretty confident that it'll be fine. Sure, it won't be perfect, but what game is day 1?

Yes, My "broken" Skyrim it's perfect too more than 500 hours combined in several plays. Many people think like they had problems anyone in world had them too. Also I don't know if they know that companies and technology advance with years. They are saying Like game cube was bad I wouldn't buy a Wii u or a 3ds because they are clearly the same ... sarcasm.

The problem was Bethesda was rather lazy with the Ps3 and outright lied about parity with the 360 before release. No Ps3 Skyrim discs were given out for reviews as well. After Skyrim got a boatload of patches it finally did run well, months after release.

Uhh no, the game still runs like abysmal ass on PS3.

The reason being out of the PS3's 512 mb of ram, half of it was dedicated, meaning the game couldn't use it. Which would be fine if this was a linear, level based, FPS, or a cardboard cutout world like GTA, but the need to have to save and keep track of every object in the game that got moved from its default spawn location, quickly overwhelmed the PS3's laughably limited memory.

The xbox 360, which has the same amount of ram, but lacks the "half of its dedicated" stuff the PS3 has, ran fine because it could actually use all 512mb of ram.

This is all well documented. Even when the PS3's specs were first announced devs were complaining about it becuase of how terrible it was.

Wrong. Before Bethesda actually put just a little bit of effort on the Ps3 version, no patches, you would get 35-50 hours max before catastrophic game breaking lag. After all the patches I got 200 hours on my main character with all the DLC. Bethesda was lazy on the Ps3 version, outright lied about parity with the 360 before release and didn't give out Ps3 discs for review.

Except it isn't, which is why many people, to this day, have tons of problems with the same issue on the PS3 version. Your anecdotal evidence doesn't negate the actual facts.

I didn't get the silent Esbern bug, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Why do fan bois have to always exagerate

What makes fan bois (on all 3 sides) think they must post massive exaggerations as if they were facts? When you make statements like these, most reasonable people will just quit reading your propoganda post right then....any actual valid points or good information that follows is just wasted bytes on the internet.

Ps4's are made out of moon dust, star light and super duper graqe juice. . The same stuff bethesda makes their games out of. We'll be fine. It's the Wii users that'll have the most trouble playing the game.. because the Wii is made out of peanut butter and banana pancakes.

...and you completely missed my point. Quit posting blatant BS and maybe someone would read past the first sentence of your thread...and using the word, "butthurt" is a sure sign of Sony Fan Boi-ism....
