Reminisce

I reside here with only the my musings and his self constructs keeping me company, it is interesting... based on your progeny flightful wizard I would have never expected one such as yourself to be born from the ragged barbarians whom consistently harassed our shining cities. "shining" you would mock me but I assure you our settlements were of glimmering resonance along the once fertile plains of Resdayn.

but after Vvardenfel's first eruption in our history, our way of settlements had to change, much of them were dug into the earth tapping further into the underground furnaces for power and material. spartan and purely functional you may have noticed yes, but that was just for those colonies and exploratory settlements dotted around Star Mountain

But Dwemeris! oh Dwemeris was a spectacular reach to our glory, she suffered little against the burning stones hurling across the horizon upon Star mountains stirring, her mighty force shield draqed across like a golden curtain and took no effort to shield the Capitol from the fiery onslaught, because of this shield and Dwemeris sheer size it was decided against relocating her into the earth, we would have no concerns after facing the wrath of the world itself.

until your ancestors came.

yes the zealous near unwavering bands of barbarians riding insects and donning the carapace of the dead ones upon their chest your people were a presumptuous mer full of hubris and highly uncultured, such was our view. you fed off the land used the local fauna more than we ever did you would be no threat and little reason to worry, stay out of our way and we of yours. but it seemed your control of all around you had to be total and absolute.

The first attacks were raids on our ore convoys, to which you could not shape or make use off but just to spite us charming work of M'phla, then came the attacks on our golem guard when Bo'etha imbued you with bravado and foolish courage. for a time out settlements stayed untouched, but you would camp closer and closer, and with N'ctnal grace your fears of our sunken cities and sunless corridors faded. and with A'zra'a "Divine right" you sought yourselves our betters and struck with total abandon.

hehehe what passion against our cold soul-metal.

.......Rest...some Rest would be good.
