Removal of Classes

Well, I think classes made sense in Morrowind and Oblivion but will not in Skyrim so although I never used a pre-set class but still appreciated it being in the game I'm indifferent about the move to remove them.

Would you guys have removed the classes? Did you think they were well implemented or useful at all? What are your feelings on Skyrim's take on levelling?

Classes have never really been in a TES game. It only influences your starting skills and you max everything at the end of the game anyway. To put it simply, a maxed Mage is exactly the same as a maxed fighter.

Almost anything will be better than max/min oblivion for the +5.

Attributes I am not thrilled with. Ckasses? Pretty meaningless to me as I always modified Acrobat to my tastes and that's what I was.

The biggest issue is that, to date, it looks like every character is going to be "vanilla" at the start of the game. Unless it turns out otherwise (and it may - there is no confirmation on many aspects of character generation) - that I am not so good with.

Played Morrowind? Using a misc. skill there isn't worth the effort.

You are assuming the player put time into minor skills. Something I personally didn't do in Oblivion. If I was using alteration there was no point in light armor and heavy armor because it would prevent me from using my spells effectively.
