I've seen a bunch of mods or edits to the xml file that will remove quest markers, but they also always remove either NPCs or points-of-interest from the compass as well. I ONLY want to remove the quest markers from the compass. I still want to be able to see NPCs and points-of-interest.

Also, I do not wish to get rid of quest markers entirely, as I still want them visible on my map.

Get DarN's UI. You have control over everything you see in your compass, plus much, much more. It's a must have for this game as far as I'm concerned.
