Remove the HUD from screenshots

Post » Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:37 pm

Hi guys,

I reinstalled Morrowind with some new aesthetic mods like Vanity Balmora mod and Bitter Coast and I want to take some screenshots with the new beautiful landscape. Is it posible to somehow remove the HUD via consola or any other way? I knew how to remove it in Oblivion, but Morrowind console is a whole new thing for me. Any help would be much apreciated.

Thanks,
Pushkatu!

Open console, and type TM. That'll disable menus!

I think he mean Vality, not Vanity. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6316

He most likely meant "Vality's Balmora" (which can be found at PES ;) ).

Disable the crosshairs too: Open the menu, go to Options and find the "Disable Crosshairs" button.

If you're using MGE, you can also use the macro editor to set up a hotkey for toggling the crosshair on/off, so you don't have to do that manually every time.

I've had an issue with this command "tl" before. It turns the GUI off, but a lot of the time when I open the command console and type it again, it wont come back.

Don't type tm to get menus back, right click inside the console.

Not exactly the same question but, is it possible to use MGE's macro feature to automatically remove the HUD and crosshair, take a screenshot, then re-enable the HUD and crosshair by just pushing one or two keys? I only ask because AFAIK macros in other programs allow you to do multiple tasks with a single key press.
