Remove the level 15 cap next beta weekend!

Post » Sun Feb 16, 2014 5:13 pm

Since the game has alot of bugs and issues the first 15 levels I strongly urge Zenimax to remove the cap so we can test the content beyond...

There are testers separate from us I believe that continuously test the game beyond the beta content. I just want to get in the fun of Cyrodiil for the next beta! :D

I always find it funny that the bits MMO devs usually don't want us testing are the bits that are overall the most important to the longevity of the games.

The content needs to be uploaded along with the higher levels too, last beta weekend the whole province of Deshaan was devoid of NPCs and had holes in the landmass, and Shadowfen wasn't there at all.

That's because you were playing a build where you weren't meant to go there.

Yeah, I know that. It's actually part of my point.

Well, there was a youtuber who explored further. He is a press, and was put into the long term server (if you go to 12:50 of the video)..

Just clarifying incase people thought missing chunks of world was normal after reading your post.

I don't think at this point they're going to let people go past that certain point anymore. They've told us that have been testing for a long time that they want us to keep the later parts of the game secret still so the story and what not is fresh for people at launch, and I doubt they'll let it go further with less than a month until launch.

Lol, that dude's reactions are great.

Lets just hope that fresh experience isn't riddled with bugs.

I'm sure they have thousands of awesome people testing it out. :)

But bugs will happen no matter what, they're inevitable. The important part is the magnitude and amount of them.

The main goal of the beta weekend is to stress test the servers and the software

Log in servers, constant d/cs, load times, memory leaks due to high on-screen character counts and gameplay flow with high numbers is actually what they are testing, These will be fairly generic across all zones in live, so they only need to open level 1-15 to test these things. Why give free access to more when that's not what they are testing.

Its actually more beneficial for their testing if you reach 15 and re-roll so you increase server load in the starting area's again.

So youre implying here that Zenimax has all content sorted and bug free?

Every single mmo ive played and beta tested content always gets less "ready for launch" the higher the level.

And now that the NDA has lifted I dont see any reason why they would keep thei game closed +15.
