Removing a mod corrupts my savegame.

IS there a way to save my game after having removed a certain mod that in my case, when removed, always nets me a CTD when trying to save?)

Have you followed clean save procedures? http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes4Mod:Clean_Save

Yes. Crash.

Go into an interior -> save in a new slot - > disable -> load the game -> save again --> see if it works. :tongue:

It doesn't.

Try to delete (EDIT : keep a backup somewhere) the OBSE co-save (you risk losing a lot of saved information, of course).

Try to reset the Oblivion.ini file (EDIT : same recommendation about the backup).

Please report back, it should work, eventually (EDIT : if everything worked prior to the mod removal).

The .obse file that has the same name as your save game file.

Also, you don't say which mod you refer to. Be aware that some mods have special uninstall requirements. These are normally listed somewhere in the mod's documentation, either provided with the download or on an online description page. Not too many of those, but they do crop up.

Yes, just like AndalayBay said.

You can find these co-save files (extension = .obse) in the same folder than your save-game files (extension = .ess).

As an example, mine are stored here :

No results.

The mod is the following one:

http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/37487/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D37487%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D310505&pUp=1

my bad for not following sergio1992's statements. Beside, if i try to load the corrupt savegame it says 'none of the master used in this game are loaded. returning to game.'
