Can anyone help me out here with this? I've been searching for a way to get rid of passive racial abilities, like imperial luck and argonian water breathing, through the console commands, with no luck at all. I've tried the help function, I've tried finding formIDs or such, and I can't find anything.

Just a little question...why would you want to get rid of racial abilities? They are the only things that make them unique from each other aside from appearance...

Because everything within the active effects tab are the only things I've been unable to figure out how to alter through the console - and given that I've got a very bad case of OCD, this is bothering me big time. Call me crazy, but I spent two hours wrestling with the console. I'd just be grateful if someone could tell me.

try using: help "name of racial ability" 4

that should give you the id of the ability

that would let you add racial abilities, i imagine they work like perks, i don't know if you can remove them tho, you must be able to.

Theyre spells. You need their spellIds to remove them from the console. Once you have their spellIDs you would add/remove them like any other spell.

yea player.removespell works, and help "racial ability name" 4 gives you the spell id

i just successfully removed my resist poison 50% racial ability


help "item wanted" 4 will give you the id of anything in the game, be it a spell/item/perk or anything else, you also don't even need the full name just a partial will give you a list, but you need the quotes especially if its an item with a 2 word name that has a space in it.
