Removing the patch

Until Bethesda submits a functional update there is a fix for those users who have already applied the update. Follow this series of menu options from the xbox dashboard: My Xbox > System Settings > Memory > Hard Drive > Games > Fallout: New Vegas. Select the only entry that is shown as an update, something like Title Update. Select delete. Restart the game and load your save. This fix deletes your updates but not your saved games and such.

Thanks for the tip. Though, I would like to add that there have been a very few minute cases (minute as in 2-3 of my friends lol) we're they had to load a save file several times before it worked properly. So if it doesn't work the first time, don't lose faith, you might be having the same problem they did.

Deleting the patch doesn't fix it for me. It still warns of missing DLC and then freezes when I try to load a save.
I also tried deleting and re-downloading Dead Money, still no beans.
