removing vampirism is a rediculous waste of time

Post » Tue Mar 25, 2014 12:15 pm

There's plenty of ways to treat the disease before it changes you into a vampire:

-use potion of cure disease

-talk to Vigilants of Stendarr

-active a shrine

The real question is why did you wait until you changed into a vampire if you were so dead-set on not being one?

Seems like someone didn't pay attention to the MESSAGES that shows up EVERY DAY after infection, or the COMMENTS people made, or ever checked the ACTIVE EFFECTS... :whistling:

Like others have said already, it's extremely easy to avoid becoming a vampire if you don't want to. It's very easy to cure yourself before the vampirism kicks in. It's actually so easy that it's hard for us RP'ers to become a vampire unintentionally, because all the signs are there, and they are pretty obvious.

Also, I agree with this:

Am I the only one who remembers the Oblivion way of curing vampirism? I want the OP to try it.

I hated it. It was ok on the first character but after it happening to the 5th character I end up getting annoying with how long it takes. I then discovered the scroll glitch so now it's really easy and doesn't bother me.

I get nostalgic thinking about that quest, I think it annoyed me as well at the time, but now I begin to appreciate just how cool the whole quest really is, rather than just. "See this black soul gem? Go fill it.."

Can I go get Alduin to die in one shot from an iron dagger now? Because I don't like the Alduin fight.

In a non-sarcastic tone now, you had the chance to remove it. You have four days IIRC to cure the disease before it becomes vampirism. So stop griping.

Next time I play Oblivion (months away) if I become a vampire I will do the quest without cheating because it is sometimes fun to do. I just hate what it does the the characters face. even after curing the character it doesnt look exactly like it was before being infected. I had an altmer with a perfect facial structure but then she became a vampire. I cured her and her cheekbones were completely different. Other parts of the face were different too but the cheekbones changed too much. I deleted her because she looked horrible.

It's also possible to avoid a fate you don't like the way you can handle ANY such situation - Reload an earlier save.

It's extra fun on the PS3 :P

Hey, I have ADD (though admittedly am not a kid) and I would like more complexity, consequences, and squirrels.

+1

There's really no reason to complain. Considering you have plenty of time to get rid of it before it effects you.

This, all of it.

I was gonna give the OP a fishy stick but such a trivial matter this one has no time for :P

I just realised this is guaranteed to happen in the next game.

The people put quick exits in one-zone dungeons, for [censored] sake.

To sig, or not to sig. To sig, or not to sig. To sig, or not to squirrel. Dammit :P

Heh, I was in White Ridge Barrow, I think it's called, on Solstheim, last night and I spent about five minutes searching for the quick exit... That wasn't a tiny place, either (not HUGE, but sizeable if you investigate all the 'dead ends'). It made me go back and I found some stuff to mine that I'd missed when I was fighting spiders, so I was pleased.

Hehe!

Go play Hello Kitty Island Adventure then. Quit complaining, pick up your shield and bash some skulls in.

It ain't so bad.

Spoiler
I like that you are required to kill someone to get cured. Be glad Falion didn't bump into a mudcrab on his way to meet you at dawn. :D :stare:
