Renee Gade III

I know right? One's a vampire who refuses to betray her guildmates by killing them. The other is sort of a wood elf hippie who's not interested in following any quest lines except finding [censored] for Umbacano! Lady Saga would be a hippie if she lived on Earth for sure. she'd be one of those radical anarchist hippies who blows [censored] up and chains herself to trees.

That is what I like about having many different characters, they specialize themselves. As I have only one, he gets to do everything, something you normally can′t in real life. I mean, you can′t be a cop while working as a constructor while tending to a bar while being a soldier in an army.

But no, I won′t create another character. I′m happy with dear Lothran

"First you need to get out of here. Through that door must be the entrance to the sewers, past the locked gate. That’s where we were heading. It’s a secret way out of the Imperial City. Or it was supposed to be secret. Here. You’ll need this key for the last door into the sewers."

"The sewers?"

"There are rats and goblins down there…but from what I’ve seen of you, I’m guessing you are an experienced {Insert Wrong Class Here}. Am I right?"

 Yea, he always gets that wrong!

Very cool. Renee Gade the first was a "jack of all trades" character who was taking up every single quest that came her way. It got to be overwhelming and then one day I jsut stopped Oblivion altogehter! . So multiple characters come in handy to take up various aspects of the game

So true. I was very, very overwhelmed too in the beginning as I picked up one quest after another. In fact that was mainly how I never got around to start the MQ, I had so many other things to do! :D
I never stopped playing however. So very much the contrary :hehe:

... perhaps I'll just call her Anne Thraxx, then! ...
Anne Thraques, (if she's a Breton). Given your previous names, the XX part looks like she's number twenty!

Oh, new characters are only ever born when it rains, I think.

I know, so I guess I actually wait for a forecast!

But snow is fine too, right? Or otherwise Renee Gade III, a.k.a Anne Thraques, will really have to wait

It's supposed to snow tonight unfortunately I wouldn't have time to start her. I'm supposed to go up to Baltimore, hope I don't get stuck somewhere! Anyways, here's what we have so far.

Name: Ann Thraxx - I just like the double N and double X thing! Thank you The Vyper.

Race: Imperial

six: female. I think I"m gonna concentrate on making her not so cute, or stunning, or anything like that. She'll be like Dyan.

Hair: I see her with mousy brown hair for some reason. Probably "loose curls".

Class: custom. She'll be a peasant turned city empoyee (Sewer Patrol) turned gladiator. Not sure what I'll call her class.

Starsign: Atronach (thanks SubRosa)

D&D alignment: hmmmmmm. Don't know yet! :nerd: Probably "good" overall, but we shall see..

Major Questlines; Arena...maybe portions of the Fighter's Guild (since she'll be more than 50% melee) too.

Minor Questlines: Unfriendly Competition and the slaughterfish one we get from that guy who lives in Whey. Those are good ones to start with, along with the "Fetch the Shadobanish Wine" quests. Whatever they're called. ...

Magic usage: Restoration and Destruction. Yea, she'll be a little overkilly, but what hte hell.

Main area: Imperial City (for a good while) and Lake Rumare area around the IC.

Thanks all!

You′re right not making her so cute, it wouldn′t suit her or her name  If you want cute you always have Lady Saga, my little favorite

For class name, how about Poor Win or Poor Success? She was a lowly peasant who rose to shine :)

I know. I worked hard on Lady Saga, I should be a plastic surgeon! I wanted to use a pic of Lady Gaga to base Lady Saga on, problem is Gaga's face is always changing. She never looks the same! Plus her hairstyles... anyways, I used a pic of Taylor Swift instead. Saga looks nothing like Swift, of course, but what I did is I tried to get her face as close as possible, with vanilla's limited choices.

Ann Thraxx will be just kinda savage-looking a little.

Yeah! something along those lines. thanks

I realize those names weren′t especially good but I wanted to give you something to work with. I′m miles away from you when it comes to names ;)

Okay. The "big game" in baltimore got cancelled :celebration: so I'm literally creating Ann right now! Who should i base her face on? Like what movie star or sports celebrity or ...hmmm...

I'm gonna base Ann's face on this person...if somebody wants to think of a name. Think...

Ann is gonna be a peasant at first. Maybe do some peasant-like things...then she's taking a job in the Imperial Sewers. So think....somebody who's got maybe kinda a harder-looking face. Know what I mean?

Okay, she's done! YES! I nailed this one!!!! OMG I cant' wait to show her!!! Ann's gonna be so bad-ass!!!! She's hard-looking, all right! Where's my cell camera? Lol. DAMN out in the car!!!

Class is just "Fighter" for now, unless I think of something better. ;)

What I did folks is used one of my "pretend" mods. This one is called Renee's Alternate Beginning mod. Basically what you gotta to do install it is...

1). Go into the gamesave of a previous character. This gamesave must have been made before exiting the Tutorial sewers. In this case, I started this process with Lady Saga's gamesave.

2). Copy that gamesave from the PS3's Saved Data Utility onto a USB memory stick

3). Now exit the User ID that gamesave was from and enter a different User ID

4). SAVE the info from the USB into the new User ID's Saved Data Utility

5). Start Oblivion > load game > Saved Data Utility folder > open gamesave.

6). Lady Saga pops on, just before she exits the Sewers at the beginning of the game.

7). edit edit edit Class, Race, and Starsign.

Maybe it′s just me, but wouldn′t it have been nice to do the escape with Ann? You know, to get to know her from the very start?

But congrats in any way!! :celebration:

@ King Coin: here ya go:http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/xenaclone/annthraxx.jpg. Sorry if she's a little pixellated. You might be able to edit her face down smaller so she appears a bit smoother. Our Picassa program here in the office where I work isn't good enough to do anything other than crop or other minor edits.

...actually, I jsut put her in my profile pic. Looks smoother in that little space.

@ mirocu: nah. I've done the Tutorial so many times now, I wanted to finally start a roleplay that doesn't begin in jail. Plus, I didn't really have time last nite to spend an hour+ going thru that whole process again. Basically, I used yet another pretend-mod which started her at Chestnut Handy Stables. Skyrim has a carriage system which takes the character just outside of any of that game's major towns & cities. So I just roleplayed it that she arrived outside the city gates via carriage from the West Weald. I wrote about it in the Where are you Now? thread.

Great pic of Anne! I like her face a lot. It's pretty enough, of course, but there's a sort of intensity and thoughtfulness to her appearance that is unique. :goodjob:
