The topic shows up, or you actually are successful in bribing them? It should tell you that you don't have enough gold. Or there is a configuration issue in RGO - you could try using the Configuration Menu / Ring (a Misc item) and resetting RGO to defaults.

I am glad to say the mod is now running flawlessly after doing a clean install with the newest version. Awesome work Reneer! :)

Huh. I'll look into it...

My guess, from looking at the code, is that nothing is wrong except perhaps the Bribe Amount hasn't been set in your RGO Configuration. Have you tried going to the in-game Configuration Menu and resetting to defaults?

actually I have no Idea what version I am using, I just said 1.0 because I can't seem to find the version in the boss list or anything, maybe I should try putting it back in, I removed it for a reason, oh yeh, are you familiar in any versions having your infamy skyrocket making it impossible doing anything? maybe it's a bug with another mod, I don't know, so I deactivated to not take the chance of it happening again.

I'm just going to be quiet and install the latest version and see if it works right, I really did like the mod.

The infamy issue was fixed a while ago, probably back in version 1.91 or 1.92, and it was introduced around 1.85 or so. Also the Configuration Menu in RGO will tell you what version is running.

I'm running 1.963, thats out of date a bit right?

it should have been fixed by then, I'm going to install the newest version and put it back up for sure if it's fixed then.

That's about a month old, give or take, so yes, it's out of date.

RGO 1.97a Released!

1.97a - Fixed a major bug in the mod, which essentially stopped it from working altogether. If you are running 1.97, this is a required update.

I just want to add my support and thanks for this mod...can't really believe what was said a few pages back. :(

I can't imagine what it must be like studying for a PhD and trying to find and fix bugs along side. Both must be very stressful and frustrating at times! Thanks for continuing with the mod and updating it, we really appreciate it.

Off to download the latest update now ^_^

I resetted the RGO configuration in the video if you look carefully, but the bug is fixed with 197a. I don't know why it happened anyway.

Can I ask what this major bug was? I haven't seen anything like that

I checked the bottom of the first post, didn't see any details on the major bug. But I'm guessing it's what was happening to me. Starting with the mod from a fresh game, it added the Misc. config ring to my inventory, but didn't add the corpse moving spell, and no guards changed behavior at all (though they did have a Bribe option, even though it wouldn't do anything), and none of the bounty effects of the mod were working. So aside from being able to access the config menu and seeing a Bribe option for guards, the mod was essentially not working at all. I'll update the mod when I get home from work and see if this new version fixes it. Thanks for this mod, I was excited when I read about it. Something Oblivion should have had from the get-go, with how realistic Bethesda touted this game as being with AI and whatnot before it released. Great job doing what the devs couldn't (or worse, wouldn't). :D

It was a line in the RenCrimeNodeQuestScript that literally would crash the script, which meant that no crime-rings would be created (though Guards would still function properly in some instances).
