Rented my first server : Crysis

As the topic says I have rented my first server. I want to know how to make it ranked and if there is anything else that I need to know, like how to choose game type and map. Also how to kick people out and ban. I rented it from http://www.gameservers.com. Thanks in advance.

For my first server I started with 8 people in the game with 10 voice for i think $10. Just need to know how to make it ranked so I can gain xp in my server. Plus how to kick and ban people.

Wow I didn't know it was so cheap to host.

To get it ranked you basicly dont edit anything in the server except for name. MoTD and maprotation.

To get RCON working there is a thread I made on the Gameservers forum under the same name. You need to get Gameservers to add lines to your server that you cant do yourself and then run a RCON tool designed for Crysis Wars. You can Kick/Ban with it but not much else.

Thanks for the info got the server ranked in the Config menu on gameservers. Now just need to work on RCON. Now just need some people to play on my first server. Thnaks for the help.

Named my server $in City Gaming since in live in Vegas if anyone want s to play on it.

So I got RCON to work without submitting anything. The http port was already 64001 and used my http password to log in and it just worked. But noone is in there so cnat see if its working.
