Repairing T-51b power armor

Post » Fri Apr 01, 2011 5:57 pm

Is there any way for me to repair the T-51b power armor without using vendors? If there is a person in Fallout 3, who can repair my armor back to 100%, that would be great; however, they don't really have high repair skills. I have a high repair skill, but I cannot find any other armors to use to repair it. Would a repair skill of 100 be able to repair it.

Your on-topic replies are greatly appreciated, thank you.

AFAIK its only vendors for that one... Its speculated to be a bug.

I'd recommend giving that suit to your companion, simply because gear used by companions doesnt degrade.

I found out that it is worth investing money in the Wolfgang vendor. He is usually just outside of Megaton. If you don't see him, just select the wait option and keep doing it. During the appropriate hours he will be there. In order to invest in him, you must travel to Canterbury Commons (Latitude: 18; Longitude: 10.5). Uncle Roe is the man you want to find. You must make two investments to Wolfgang, the Junk and miscellaneous items dude. It cost quite a bit but it is worth it. Repairing your T-51b power armor isn't cheap, but if you want to continue using it, this is the way to go. Plus, using this strong, slow-degrading armor, you are more able to adventure and find plenty of items to sell and make money. If you plan to go this route, you should try to get your strength high. I have been quite profitable with this armor. The armor will never be at 100% again, but this will make it nearly 100%. Ever since I got this armor along with descent weapons, I have survived easier and made thousands of bottle caps in proffit. So, don't be affraid to sacrifice your money at first, for this scenerio.

This should help.
