Just wondering where/who you use to repair your weapons and armor when they break? Best place?

The Mojave Outpost repairs everything up to 100% - if you have the (huge amounts of) caps.
There are lots more locations, like the lady in the scrapyard near Novac ... most don't repair up to 100% though.

If you have Confirmed Bachelor, it's free.

I usually go to the Mohave Outpost.

However last night I took Raul to his shack and he won't repair anything for me. Keeps telling me to take him to his shack while he is inside of it.....

According to the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Major_Knight, this has been removed post-patch 1.2 Can anyone confirm whether this is correct or not?

Yep, just handed over some 12k caps to the Major, and I've got both the Lady Killer and Confirmed Bachelor perks

I think Raul only repairs stuff at his shack if he is not ur companion.

Aiight, thanks for the confirmation. And, so much for that option regarding repairs at low levels...

I tried about a week ago, and the first time I had Knight repair stuff it was free. Once I exited the repair menu and went back in he charged me. I loaded an earlier auto-save and tried this again because WTF, and the same thing happened. I walked in, talked to Knight, had him repair a bunch of things (but not everything) and he didn't charge me. I exited the repair menu and immediately had him repair more items, and he charged me for those.

Not what I would call the best place to go, but in the BoS safehouse Paladin Sato shows up every few days and will repair certain items to 100%

Same thing happened to me. If you're playing on a pc, http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36904 mod will resolve the issue.

Mojave Outpost, Major Knight and pickpocket my caps back for free repairs if money is still tight at that point in the game. Late in the game where the only things I have to spend caps on is repairs and ammo I stop pickpocketing him. He's kinda hard to pickpocket and not worth the effort then.

Jurry Rigging... haven't spent a single cap for repairs. Best perk in the game.

Oh, 100% agreed on Jury Rigging, but it takes awhile to get 90 points in Repair without totally neglecting other skills, and it isn't even available until level 14... gotta have a contingency plan for the interim.

Even without Jury rigging, I've never paid for repairs. Making weapon repair kits on the workbench is easy (only need Repair 50), and the parts are everywhere. Armor's a bit tougher, but I tend to wear stuff that's common (leather armor, merc gear, etc), so repairs haven't been that much of a problem either.

Can't remember the last time I paid for repairs.

the guy at trading post 188, lady gibson etc but once you get the jury rigging perk and if you are good at collecting and buying stuff for repair kits, you really won't need to pay anyone to repair your stuff very often at all, hardly ever.
