Repeatable quests?

Post » Sun Feb 09, 2014 2:07 pm

I was trying to group up with a few fellow friends from other mmorpgs, but we couldn't because I already ran the quest that they were trying to do and even couln't see them because I was at a different phase.

Do you guys like the actual quest and phasing (is that spelled correctly?) system??

I mean, I do enjoy it how the world transform while you go forward in the game, but it should be possible to restart the whole chain from the very beginning or give us the chance to repeat it after we finish. The currently system is keeping families and friends apart. For the sake of the grouping, it should be changed.

*sorry for bad english

No need to apologise for the bad English when I understood it perfectly. In fact, you speak it better than most of my countrymen. On topic, I heard about this on the Angry Joe Show and was disappointed about it. I wouldn't mind repeating quests friends are on, even if I can't get the rewards at the end, because I just want to socialise and be part of their adventure. I can sort of see the point if it's the main quest chain because you and only you are the Soulless One in your story, but for other quests I agree players should be more involved.

To tell you the truth, and I don't mean to make this sound like an insult, it reminds me of Fable 3's and any other MMORPG's questing where other players in the party aren't acknowledged. I'm aware they can't just make quest text to talk to both members of the party, and have different voice acting for it, but I think being able to play together on the same part of a quest should be allowed at the very least.
