I've got the oblivion game of the year addition (PS3). I've already started the shivering isles quest. and i've met sheorgorath. i stopped playing the quest and went back to the main map place and i done a few missions (i don't know which ones). i was just wondering around and it said it the top corner "a strange door in (something) bay" and that was the start of the shivering isles quest. so i've still got the duskfang/dawnfang sword and the other things i got from the quest but it restarted. so i killled the gatekeeper and talked to sheorgorath. i got to xidilian and the first two focus crystals cannot be found but there still in the podium thing. the third one you can find (by killing the goblin). i put it in the podium and a door opened and This Is Where The Problem Is! the next door i came across was shut and theres no way to open it! please help me!!!

This is exactly what happens if you use the language change workaround to fix the Cure for Vampirism glitch. No way to fix it.

I have some trouble with the cure for vampirism so i might use this work around. (will search the how to myself) but my question is:
Is it save to use the workaround after the first shivering isles quest? Or is the workaround not an option if i want to do the shivering isles quests?

It should be OK to use it before the Xedilian Quest. Some parts of the first few quests will be broken/glitched. But Xedilian is the first part that it is impossible to get through.
