I have a problem of being an Information Technology worker that clicks mouses all day and eventually my left-click finger starts get all sore and tingly and then numb. I'm sure it's a repetitive stress injury (RSI) / carpal tunnel.
Well Oblivion is nothing but left mouse clicks all day long, there are no keyboard shortcuts for any buttons apparently.
1. I cannot simply Take All with my left hand, no I have to mouse over to it, every time.
2. Every sale must be confirmed with ARE YOU SURE? -- even for stuff worth 1 gold. WHY? Honestly, every seller is through a door which has an auto-save. If I actually sell something I didn't intend, I can reload that auto-save.
3. All books must be read when Taken, so it's a two step pick up then mouse to Take button. WHY?
4. Alchemy has buttons, buttons, buttons, but no keyboard shortcuts.
5. Sword fighting? Ugh, you have to mash the left click and there's no auto-attack-on-mouse-down apparently.
6. Lockpicking --- has no finesse whatsoever, totally inappropriate as an anolog mouse interface, would work better using WASD and Spacebar anyway.
After I finially finish playing Oblivion, should I forward my wrist surgury bills to Bethesda?
