Reputation Glitch

Post » Fri Feb 05, 2010 1:14 am

I completed every single quest related to the Boomers and Nellis AFB until I was idolized. I recently checked my reputation and it dropped down to "liked". I hadn't even visited Nellis AFB since I became idolized and I've never worn any kind of faction armor at any point in the game. I've never killed any Boomers nor did my companion. I went back and tried to find Jack because I remembered he would take scrap metal in exchange for fame, but he's no where to be found and no other way to restore my reputation.

A possible solution to reputation issues could be allowing players to be able to find a character that they can exchange some sort of item with in return for fame even after all the associated quests have been completed. Perhaps it would make things easier to have this character in a fixed location so people don't have to waste time running around searching. I apologize in advance if this topic has been done to death.

If you do something we another faction, that the Boomers don't like it can lower your reputation. Just like doing a mission with Yes man destroyed my reputation with the legion, even if
I didn't kill or do anything openly against Caesar. So I guess everything you do will be known and as an impact on the different factions.

You should post here, 9 pages of issues/problems/bugs. It's better to get everything together if we want Bethesda to pay attention.
