For instance whilst holding down the "X" button, the text would change from "[ActionButton] Iron Dagger - Steal" to "[ActionButton] Iron Dagger - Buy for 75 gold". Since stealing items causes NPCs to get angry with you and you get crime, there must be a way of linking the buying action to the gold the vendor has on it(script?). You might ask, "Wtf is the purpose" but this would really make it fun to explore the shelves in a shop. As far as I know no mods well known mods add new items to the physical inventories in shops. Let me just remind you of how awesome the shops in Oblivion felt. It really felt like the shop was a blacksmith's shop; alchemist's shop or tailor's shop, etc.
Now, since I'm a novice modder I can't really limit my idea to the capacity of CK and SKSE; my imagination is the only limit >.< I really would have done this because it would be fun to squeeze out a final result, but I really don't know neither advanced modding nor scripting.
So feel free to use this idea if you also think it would make Skyrim's shops feel more alive
