Sounds to me like a energy throwing spear that is projected by a powerfist type glove and uses energy cells for ammo. On second thought ignore that, my next weekend project.

awsome thanks. i was thinking making the diffent ammo typs change the appearance like regular ammo would look like the alien blaster shot and the overload charges would look like a wicked looking lighting spear
