(REQ) Music Mods!

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2009 11:52 am

Could someone PLEASE make a music mod....or if there is one out already, point me in the right direction. If I have to listen to "Big Iron" or "Johnny Guitar" much more, I am going to find the nearest Deathclaw and feed myself to him.

I recently installed http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34999, then added the music from the GNR mod in the remaining open slots. More music is better than hearing Johnny Guitar 500 times a day, although I do like the tunes that Obsidian has included in the game.

I like that one too. I'm pretty sure I'll end up using that with the songs from GNR - More Where That Came From for FO3.

You can replace the songs real easily by simply going to the correct folder, inserting your MP3s and renaming yours accordingly. The game cannot tell the difference between Big Iron and Master of Puppets, it just calls a certain file and plays the first thing it finds.

Since 'GNR More Where That Came From' also includes the Jingle Jangle Jingle song I suppose I could replace that one with a different song. :D

http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35061 and http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35330 have been ported over from FO3, they're both pretty spiffy.

The http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1559 for Fallout 3 works with New Vegas if you change the master file from Fallout3.esm to FalloutNV.esm with http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34703 or something.

Edit: actually it wasn't as simple as that, i had to use FO3Edit in an existing Fallout 3 install to change the master file, and then move the esp over to New Vegas folder.

Easy - turn the radio off! Unlike Fallout 3, New Vegas has a damn good non-radio soundtrack.
...
