(Req) Skeleton resource

Post » Tue Oct 06, 2009 4:20 am

Hi Everyone,

I've been looking for months trying to find a resource for the individual bones of a skeleton so that it can be rearranged to look right in different positions (sitting, crumpled in a heap at the bottom of a cliff, laid out funeral style, etc). Does such a resource exist? If so, where can I find it? If not, would any of you wonderful modelers be interested in making one?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe you could use one of the skeleton races and arrange the body parts in the render window of the CS?

in http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=136072&id=6777 there is a skeleton race with individual bones you can use and arrange as you wish.

If you intend to use more poses for them, I suggest you to use custom animation on a skeleton Npc or creature. It will save time and work, as described in http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=136072&id=8118.

Read the sig. :)

I'm trying to not have a dependency on TR and I'm not sure how they (we?) would feel about having just the bones used in a non-TR mod. I'll have to check with the admins on that one (as soon as TR is back up, been down a couple of days).

Thanks Arcimaestro Anteres,

I'll check it out. I'm only intending the skeletons to lie there like a container (like vanilla ones), I just wanted a way to alter the pose so that they fit the surroundings rather than having to make the surroundings fit them. :)

Bah, I'm blind. Though I remember the team stating that if there are only a few meshes used, the mod doesn't have to be dependant on TR_Data.

Although that doesn't matter now...
