Request - 3dsmax plugin

Post » Mon Feb 01, 2016 3:48 am

For years the modding community has flocked to Bethesda games because of how open the game is to modding and the community continues to get better. One of the things we have lacked for some time now is a reliable tool for importing/exporting of meshes with 3dsmax, Blender or other modeling software. It limits us and the quality of the mods, this is a tool that would be extremely useful to the public and I hope someone could find out if it is possible for this to happen.

Modding helps make Bethesda games what they are, help us help you.

Here's hoping you get noticed. I like the idea and it would be very useful.

This is needed badly..especially for the next game and Fallout 4. In the case of Blender.. when the API changed after version 2.4, it slowed down the Nifskope team a lot. And their only 3DS Max developer had left long long time ago.

There is a working plugin for Max 2013, but a lot of us don't have 2013.

I expressed interest in this middle part of last year but gave up because programming isn't something that you can get good at in a few weeks in order to make an impact. By the time I'd get good at it, it wouldn't matter, and I hate that.
