There are only two kinds of revolvers in this game, the sub-par pipe revolver and the .44, and that's it. My character is trying real hard to be a post-apocalyptic cowboy but that's difficult with only two guns that fit the theme. I think a laser or plasma revolver would be awesome and would really help with the current, dreadful lack of variety.

I thought all you needed to be a cowboy was a horse and a .44

how about the alien blaster or zeta gun, not exactly revolvers technically, but i think they look quite space cowboy like

I would like a laser revolver that could hold 6x the ammo but take 6x longer to reload. Definitely help with my SciFi cowboy/bounty hunter look.

you can get the unlimited prototype laser rifle from, uh, badtfl basemant iirc? and mod it down to a pistol.

for longer reload time though... dunno, dawdle?

An old Colt converted to fire plasma bullets could be cool. Casings that looks sorta normal but a bit longer and with a little wire to it, green "bullet" tip filled with a plasma charge. The Colt could have hollow grip to house a battery of sorts. Deffo an idea for a mod if anything else (don't see Bethesda make this sort of thing at this stage)

There is plenty of weapons in Fallout 4 no need to over complicate things by adding more.

Not really what I had in mind as such, but it would do I guess. Plasma infused weapons doesn't show any green on the weapon / bullets afaik. I was thinking more in style with http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/.357_magnum_revolver

I'm not a english native either, but stg comes up as "swear to god" on urban, and google first choice for me (since I am danish) is Scandinavian Tobacco Group

What about a 6 shot laser hand cannon. You load 6 fussion/fission cells into a revolving cylinder (like bullets in a revolver) and a single shot completely drains the cell that it was fired from. Give it a crazy super big blast effect to match the power of the shot too.
