before or after the game engine is rebuilt by the OpenMW team to allow for more dynamism in the game for players,
the ornicopter sound and graphics overhaul will obviously be the sound/gfx updates.
what can be said of all the other great and important mods out there, however? The gameplay mods?
There are various mods that add new enemy NPCs everywhere, updating vampirism, creating bandits on the road, the list is seemingly endless. Are these all doomed to be put on a back shelf to collect dust after so much individual hours have been spent building them?
I hope not.
Who will put those together? Does anyone care to do so?
That is my request. The basic idea is, without wyremash or any of the extra addons, make a program which installs a vast array of compatible mods which aren't bad. No fuss or muss, hassle-free, multi-GB morrowind patch. All extra content, all overhauled, all approved. There's enough stuff out there to change the game operations.
One huge, cohesive, and fan-generated release would be a great way to end every elder scrolls sequel.
Sounds complex and hard to the uninitiated but I'd think it wouldn't be so bad. It may take a few dedicated coders to work together but it would probably be as popular as ornicopters' sound & gfx compilation (which was created in a similar fashion).
