Requesting advice on Two-Handed Weapon Perks

Post » Sat Aug 03, 2013 3:50 am

Hey guys,

I recently created a melee character with focus on heavy armor and two-handed weapons on Master difficulty and would humbly request some information.

I'm not quite sure if I should invest any points into the weapon type specific two-handed perks (crit. damage for swords, bleeding for axes and armor penetration for maces). I have done some research that suggests that these perks are very sub par and not worth investing points in. However, this information might be outdated.

Can anyone shed some light on whether these perks are worth taking, please? You would do me a huge favor.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Al those 3/3 perks in both One and Two Handed svck. Not worth the investment.

The Quick Reflexes perk in the Block tree works wonders with Two Handers. I recommend investing in the Block tree.

I've played a lot with two-handed weapons and I can confirm that the weapon specific perks are not worth it. You'd be better of spending it somewhere else. The Barbarian, Champion's Stance, Devestating Blow, Sweep and Great Critical Charge(requires a decent stamina poll to be effective) are the most important ones. Warmaster can be good, but the attack itself is very prone to miss, since it is slow and moves backwards.

Thanks for the answers, guys. I will stay away from these perks then.
