Requesting DLC so we can spend all this gold.

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 1:52 pm

Anyone else besides me, having trouble figuring out how to spend all that gold that keeps pouring in? I have 2 furnished houses already and close to 120k in gold still. I've been buying up tons of crafting supplies, and alchemy ingredients whenever I'm in a town, but I'm still bringing in more gold faster than I can spend. I'd like to propose some of the following ideas that would help keep our gold at more humble levels.

1) Bring back the enchanter NPCs that will recharge your gear at 5k a pop.

2) Let us purchase ships and be able to upgrade them into warships or even party yachts!

3) Add more decorations into the game such as rare paintings that could fetch varying amounts of gold and lets us hang them on the walls of our houses.

If anyone else has ideas, I'd love to hear them.

There are half a dozen houses and a ton of crap to buy/create

This is how it is with every TES game/ RPG. Hell, I remember at the end of Mass Effect I had all the Spectre armor/weapons for me and what I could equip my companions with and I still had millions of credits.

You could always drop each coin individually and have a Scrooge McDuck type coin room.

He would still have a large surplus with 120k after buying every upgrade for those three houses.

He should have bought the houses already if he's complaining about having too much.

Sounds to me like you should drop all of it in someplace like Riften and then start all over. They would appreciate it.

You seem to be missing the entire point of my post. Even if and when I decide to buy the rest of the houses, I'm still going to have gold spilling out of my [censored]. Feel free to add some constructive ideas on what could be added to the game rather than being Captain Obvious.

That's why I'd like to be able to invest in the restoration and redevelopment of settlements, mines, mills, farms and other services and restore the various guild halls in the main cities - not only do I sort out injustice and tyranny, I can be a great philanthropist too (although I'm not sure how to make that work for the more villainous characters we might want to play).
