Requesting nifscope help

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:33 am

Sorry, I know it's probably been asked a million times before but I'm at the end of my tether.

After many (many, many, many) hours struggling with blender and nifskope, I finally managed to get my dodgy, crappy, [censored] little cut, paste and crop model into the game, only to find out it looks like this:

Any help - be it directions, or directions to a tutorial that I haven't read (seems unlikely at this stage) would be GREATLY appreciated. :)

Cheers,
Watto.

PS. (Just venting now.) I think the thing that's really driven me over the edge is that it looks just perfect in nifskope. Just perfect... :(

I think that is a problem of weighting in some of the vertexs. Try reweighting your meshcopying the weights from another mesh that works in game :)

Thanks for the reply. :)

Turns out it was something to do with the bones (dem bones dem bones) and skin and partitions and so on and such forth. Which is lucky, because I lost you right after "I think that is a problem..." :)

Cheers again.
