I've just discovered that, for some reason, I can only focus on something when music is playing. But it's not just any kind of music. It has to sound like someone's committing a hate crime on an electric guitar. It has to be [censored] fast and angry and sound like Death is riding a motorcycle made of Vikings. Something like that.

No screaming, lyrics optional; what it needs are fast and insane guitar and fast and insane drums.

Well if that's what you're looking for you shouldn't be listening to Dragonforce.

Other than that, search for grindcore, death metal and black metal.

I think most people are the same, fast music makes people move quicker. Rhythm is infectious

I'm more of a classic rock/metal guy, so I haven't really delved into the speed/thrash metal genre... anyways, Judas Priest has a some quick/powerful stuff. Check out most of Painkiller (specifically, Painkiller and Leather Rebel). Aside from Painkiller, I'd say Rapid Fire (British Steel) and Freewheel Burning (Hell Bent for Leather).
