Most prebuilt PCs don't come with a monitor, for many reasons. Primarily, you almost certainly already have one, and secondarily there's no one monitor that would suit everybody equally well. It'd be like a console coming with a TV - sure, there are some people who don't own TVs anyway, but what do you get them? Some want a 50" HDTV, some are fine with an 18" CRT. Some prefer a larger screen, others prefer a higher pixel density - refresh rate and contrast ratio are two other very important, very changable things.

Do you think a alienware m11x laptop with these specs could run Skyrim? Can they run games such as FO NV and FO3? I'm sorry but I'm autistic when it comes to pc specs and such.

Depending on how the job situation the following is what I hope to have for Skyrim
Overclocked Sandy or Ivy Bridge quad core ~4Ghz
Two OCZ Vertex 3 drives in raid 0
8 GB of Ram
2 SLI Mid/High level nVidia Cards
1 120Hz 24" 3D monitor

Before people flame about the 3D, Oblivion looks great in 3D. As far as I know the devs did nothing to make it 3D, all hardware and some driver tweaking from nVidia, and this was long before Avatar. You might not like it but for me its incredible and makes every 3D movie look a cheap knock off. This is what I plan to have when Skyrim is released.

That's so over kill. Modern SSDs are like 2-5x the speed of HDDs. Raiding them is a total waste of money. They are way too expensive atm. In fact, you aren't going to see much of a performance diff in apps using them in raid. You best bet is to get one, load your games and OS on it, and use a regular HDD for storing music, video, and basic apps. SSDs will increase performance and reduce load hitching while playing games. in some cases you might even see 1-2 FPS differences, but for the most part, they just smooth everything out load times and general OS lag due to slow loading.

I opted to wait for the next wave of them before I upgrade. They are increasing in speed very rapidly, and the prices are almost at a good point. When I can get a performance 256MB SSD for sub 200, I'll be biting. ;P
