REQUIREMENTS TO THE PC FOR THE BEST GAMEPLAY IN CRYSIS 2

Post » Tue Apr 14, 2009 5:59 am

If developers will offer some variants of configurations PC players will be very grateful to them for it!
For example: LOW, MED, HIGH, ULTRA.

If developers will give requirements for PC beforehand many players can be prepared for game, and will not stay disappointed.

They aren't revealing any hardware requirements at this time. We will have to wait 1-3 months possibly.

imo since it's running on consoles if you can run a game like cod4 you'll be able to run crysis 2.

I wish they'd just give out the requirements already to stop the speculation.

I'm sure it will be easy to run as the developers are not silly. They want to push as many units as possible to their devoted fans. A well-oiled PC can blow the doors of a console though. Just invested in 12 gigs of Ram, dual 4870x2s', and an I7 myself over christmas time as well as an assortment of goodies so I plan on clocking it PC wise as well as console.

I already have a thread about this. Consensus is that it will work fine as long as you can play the original Crysis because 2 is streamlined.

Iv never known a Developer NOT to include a settings tab for there game that doesnt at least have 3 pre-set graphics options.

You need HD 5870, hd 5970, or GTX 480 video card to run Crysis 2 very well.

Yes, Cry Engine 3 has been optimized for Consoles, so it should run better (hopefully) then the original Crysis.
