im doing the civil war quest for the empire and im trying to do what i need to regain winterhold... my first objective is to meet with hadvar and his men, but for some reason, these idiots CHARGE INTO THE FREAKING FORT BEFORE I GET ANYWHERE NEAR THE MEETING POINT!!!

why are they doing that?! what the hell are they thinking?!

i've tried fast traveling, i've tried running there normally... but they get inside the fort before i even get halfway there!

because of this idiocy, i can NOT complete the objective that tells me to meet with hadvar and his men... it just throws the second and third objectives at me and leaves the meeting objective blank, strangely, even though they OBVIOUSLY discover us, it doesnt even fail the objective... but it doesnt complete it, either.

so what am i supposed to do... are these idiots SUPPOSED to charge into the fort and start a battle before we even meet up?

i was hoping to play this quest exactly as its meant to be done, not rush in like an idiot without any strategy... this completely ruins the fun of doing this quest.

i have the latest patch available for the ps3 that has been released, which i think is 1.7, incase that matters.

It got hosed since the recent patch. I just fast-travel there (I do a lot of exploring beforehand), kill the Stormcloaks, then free the prisoners. If it doesn't complete for you - you likely have a Stormcloak hiding on the roof.

so its because i have patch 1.7?

good thing im doing this in an alternate file, and not my main file... so this MASSIVE [censored]-UP doesnt REALLY effect my game, but still, it'd be nice if they could fix problems without causing others.

also, i used dremora and odahviing... there arent any stormcloaks hiding anywhere... course, because of hadvar rushing in like an idiot, we lose about a dozen or so men, too.

so damn stupid...
