Hi there!

I encountered a bug with the quest in which I have to find Runil's journal. The quest marker just points to something in the middle of a cave but there is really nothing.

I reckon I found the book before getting the quest and already sold it. Is there any way to reset the quest or to create the journal via console? Any way to finish that quest?

Look in the UESP fo make sure Your character has fully explored the entire Cave, then check the list of known bugs for the Quest. The Console Command will also be available in the UESP, but You may not need it at all.
