So I bought this game because someone told me RER goes back to the old Resident Evil style of the games. It was suppose to be scary. And the only reason they ported it from the Nintendo 3DS was because it was that good.

Am I a terrible person?

I don't find Resident Evil Revealations scary at all. And I find it still to very much like Resident Evil 5, and 4. My favorites of the series was the original Resident Evil Zero for the Gamecube and Resident Evil something else for the gamecube. And Resident Evil Chronicles or some [censored] like that.

Who here has played RER? Am I not seeing what others saw in it?

Resident Evil 3

Resident Evil Zero

Resident Evil Chronicles or something along those lines

Resident Evil games I don't like

Resident Evil 5, but it was decent

Resident Evil 6, kill it with fire

Resident Evil Operation Raccoon city

Resident Evil 4

It was decent when it comes to fright, a few jump scares, but nothing extremely scary. Even then when I go back to the old Resident Evil games they are just not scary anymore, fun yes, scary, no.

I think, maybe we just grew up? Silent Hill however still scares me to no end. Well the first 3.

What I hate is that level, its like the first level with Chris and the [censored] wolves of death.

Seriously this doesn't make the game intense or startling or horrific. It just makes it annoying.
