Wait, so the Resistance gets to go back in time and find Colombia? NOOOOOO! If I'd known that, I would've gone with them.

It is Colombia, in the new Bioshock game, isn't it?

you are getting off topic ??
first i agree with play with both teams idea.
but between choosing one of the 2 i wouldnt make the choice on ideology. first because its a game, seccond because you cant make a choice without being ilogical or heartless.
really, i would play with the two, for both are awesome.

possible heroic resistance cutscene during a battle:
resistance one: they are SLAUGHTERING US!!! RUN!! GARH!! *dies*
resistance two: you bastards WONT GET AWAY WITH THIS!!! *pulls the gun reload thingy, looks at the enemy and starts shooting* BASTARDS!!! DIIEEE!!!

possible heroic seccurity cutscene during a battle:
seccurity command *over radio*: alpha squad, what is your status?
seccurity one: we are being overwhelmed!! we need back- gahh *dies*
seccurity two: scum, you will ALL DIEEEE!!!!!

Security are just doing their job, probably trying to keep their families safe from danger. This is just from my uninformed opinion, but it seems unreasonable of the Resistance to be taking out all of their frustrations on the Security when it's the founders that are the real problem. Security are merely pawns.

I'm having trouble deciding which side to choose from, since both have their reasons and, from dev. interviews, misunderstandings about the other side's intentions as well. I'm going to play Security first, maybe, since I like being the "'Good'/Well-meaning Cops" in most games, lol.

I will play both sides, though, to see both sides of the story. ^_^

I know both sides are good, I just meant that the cops are "well-meaning" (for the most part) in terms of their intent. And, I'm one of those naive people that tend to see cops as a symbol of goodness. But I know that there are good and bad and/or fanatic people on both sides. :)

I'm thinking of playing Security first, so I voted Security, even though I would like to play both as well.

good too see the poll leveling out more often i agree i see cops as the templars in AC series they mean well just going the wrong way not to say the Res don't mean well or are going in a better way the point in only showing what they think is right while playing as both sides is to show you both sides believe what they think is right IS right only blood solves that problem and even than the problem persists it's just the side that lost is shown not to bother trying.
i went with sec for reasons such as i've always wanted to be a Cop also i got the Spec Ops pack so cools.

The idea isnt that everythings gonna be awsome caviar filled fun for everyone, the resistance goal is to create a sustainable(irony?)future for everyone, and expose the inner workings of the ark to see if how much food/water/resources are around

Which - again - does not work if there are 50.000 people living on the ARK.

The ARK was build in a self-sustainable manner for housing 5.000 people.

hey, if they just cut the shanty town loose from the ark, would that give them any problems?
i mean, it was made from ark's bay, so when the bay wasnt needed they made a shanty town... so if they dont need the shanty town they could just cut it loose.

They didn't make a shanty town... It just happened. The refugees stayed there and built up a "civilisation".
They need the refugees to keep the rest of the ark afloat... They need them.

Good to see the poll leveling out more. Often, I agree. I see cops as the templars in the AC series- they mean well, just going the wrong way. Not to say the Res doesn't mean well or are going in a better way. The point in showing you the conflict from each side is to show you that both sides believe they are in the right. Only blood solves that problem, and even then, the problem persists. It's just the side that lost is shown not to bother trying.
