Resizing GECK windows

Post » Mon May 31, 2010 4:18 pm

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, due to the utter uselessness of the search function, so forgive me if it has been. I've encountered a simple problem using the GECK I never ran into using it in F3.

When I try to open the window to edit an object's base, I can barely see the bottom of it. I have to drag the window to the top of my screen and maneuver it a bit so that I can see the very top edge of the "ok" button. It's very annoying, to say the least.

I couldn't figure out anyway to resize the window, so naturally I decided to employ outside help. Any suggestions?

You just need to resize your screen resolution. Try changing it to the highest one. I have mine set at 1600 x 900.

Sorry to say, but you can't resize the windows. I have the same problem on my laptop, and I have to move the taskbar every time I want to clik OK.

IIRC, hitting enter will do the same thing as clicking OK. -- Edit: Just Checked and it does in fact perform the same function as hitting enter.

I had this problem with the GECK for FO3. Here is the solution I used: http://www.digitallis.co.uk/pc/ResizeEnable/

It isn't perfect but it does work.
