With 1920x1080 on a 24" monitor, I can actual see the marks where the leather armour got sewn together rather than a flat X on the overall background colour of the texture.
Would this change with a resolution of 1600x900 or something else to keep the ratio as good as possible?
What I noticed:
It does not have these sharp edges of objects (I don't see this as a negative).
It also gives you a more narrowed down field of view.
Do higher resolution textures still make sense with a lower screen resolution?
With other games, I always used SMAA (overwritten game settings with RadeonPro if needed) to smudge the edges of objects and not get this artificial feeling. In Skyrim ENB does this job (the graphics are distorted if I use both tools) and I haven't actual checked this:

I tried lots of stock ENB and had a hard time to find one that actual works with night vision and detect life auras, since this is essential for my gameplay. This also only worked with this one 100% after I changed its source code to let the game change the colour palette. Nobody out there looks after the sneaky guys
One actual question:
Are textures related to the games resolution or the monitors size?
