resolution dismatch

Post » Sat Nov 01, 2008 9:52 am

Hi everybody, I have a problem. Installing Crysis I see a resolution of 800x600 BUT the computer doesn't recognize the menu options where I see them. It's like I want to go on the "options" to change he resolution, but the program see the "options" key somewhere else different from where I see it. Maybe is a 16:9 vs 4:3 problem. But I don't know If it comes from the directx or is a win7 problem....
PLEASE can anybody help me?please!!!!!
thanx a lot.
I have a NVIDIA GTX 260, windows 7 ultimate....all the drivers seem to be ok.....
please... :-)

I think your problem sounds more like a mouse misalignment, which only seems to happen with DX10. Lastest patch might fix it, otherwise I don't know a solution, but a workaround may be alt+tabbing out and in, or alternating window/fullscreen (ALT+Enter).

The latest patch for Crysis Wars fixes the mouse misalignment, so try installing the 1.5 patch and see if that helps.

I have had the same problem. The way I worked around it was move the mouse to where the menu should light up. Then move the mouse around little by little, until it lights up the menu and click. This has happpened to me with crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead as well. I then adjust the resolution to what i need and the mouse works correctly again

if you still havent solved the problem, open up the 'game.cfg' file under my documents/my games/crysis and edit the "r_width" and "r_height" to be what you want.

Happens to me too, when I set the game to 1440x900, I have to put the mouse out of a box to the left to click on something. I have a question for all of you guys, I haven't really played Crysis yet, only the demo. Does the full patched game run better than the demo?
