Did anybody find one in any of the beta phases? I looked around and couldn't find one. (It was hard enough just finding the backpack vendors!!)

Side note: I hope respecs will be handled appropriately when a character with something like a racial XP bonus in a skill decides to respec to something he doesn't get a bonus for. For example, Nord 2-Hander with bonus respecs into Dual Wield, no bonus.

i didn't find them, but saw a video of them. They were located in faction capitals.

Not exactly sure what you are asking in your side note though. If a Nord respeced into dual wield, he would not get an experience bonus as that is not their racial.

They are indeed in the faction capitals, and they do indeed wipe all points that are spent and allow you to respend them elsewhere, including into skills that you haven't trained before. Interestingly (and awesomely, imho), they retain all of your experience for morphs and skills. So if you were maxed out in a skill and one of its morphs, and respec'd and picked the skill back up but rechose its other morph, you would start fresh on the new morph but still be able to go back later and pick up the other morph and still have it maxed out.

I wonder if the cost to use the respec increases with level, or increases with the amount of times its used?

Bah .. I don't like the "just change it" respec .. I've always prefered the UO style, learn / unlearn type.

So i'f I rolled sorc, and went with the lighthing chain, but didn't like that. Can I switch to the other 2 options?

You could do that, yeah. It lets you wipe all your trees and start fresh with point distribution.

Pretty sure this is still up in the air, so can't really discuss the cost (because its likely to change again).
