So I'm running around making people less forlorn. I finished up the quests and got to the point where you would initiate the attack on Nelson by talking to Major Polatli. I told him I'd come back later, took Boone and ED-E and wiped them out with some other random NCR troopers. I go back to the Major, he mentions how awesome I am for taking care of Nelson for him, and then we speak no more of it. Unfortunately that didn't finish off the quest so I'm stuck with, "Return to Major Polatli." I can talk to him but there is no option to initiate the attack or anything else related to the quest, just generic questions. I hope I don't find anymore of these quest breakers. ED-E had me worried for awhile because his quest had the optional take him to the junk yard. I'd go to the junkyard and nothing would happen. I don't have the same hope that this quest will resolve itself.

I'm having the same problem, except Major Polatli keeps telling me that I need to help out more. I've already completed the "Return to Sender" quest, retrieved the supplies for Quartermaster Mayes and helped Dr. Richards with the patients.

Help?
