Restrict players to a single faction per Campaign in Cyrodil

Post » Tue Mar 18, 2014 3:10 am

Last beta, someone from the AD faction had a lvl 10 DK in DC and got him to pull AD players over the gate wall in order to steal the scroll without bringing down the gate.

A simple fix to this would be to restrict players to a single faction per Campaign. So if a player has a character in one campaign, they can't have other chars in the other factions in that campaign.

It's not going to stop the dual boxing, multiple accounts and straight out traitors from cheating but right now anyone can just make up a lvl 10 DK and get a force through the gates without raising a single alarm.

that is what is currently happening if I am correct. however that doesnt stop you from putting a spy in your guest campaign.

If that is the case then I wasn't aware of it. Only other way I could think of was them using a glitch to get past...or a case of multiple accts which isn't hard to do in beta with all the keys given out.

I've never seen the glitch personally but heard it talked about. If true, doubt that'll get fixed anytime soon.
