I just started back on the sp for this game. I remember being able to play it pretty smoothly up until yesterday (after patch 1.8 was doanloaded but I don't want to blame it on that). Pretty much everytime I resume my sp game either after dying or from the main menu im dropped off at a random spot generally several levels back from where I last died. I wanted to finish playing the sp this week but i have no idea what's causing this problem it doesnt seem to be a general occurance for this game howver I can make any progress in the sp atall. Yesterday I played what I presume was roughlly half of "semperfie or die only to respawn at the very begining of the mission. Anyone have any idea what's causing this.

As I said I have never noticed this happening until 1.8 was downloaded but it was also around the time I created a new autoexec so ill start by removing that., as I have made it all the way until the "semper fye or die" mission without much difficulty. My crysis 2 game is saved onto my E instead of my C drive. IDK if that could be the cause or not. Any ideas?

The last save file that I have in my user/savedgames folder is "default_56_madisonsquare_131" and the last game that I generally load in the the missions "Dark...something" But every time I load my SP it takes me to a different part of that same level.
