Last month I had a pageant allowing people to showcase their characters in a form of relaxation. Letting us see who they were after the fighting stopped, the sword hung on the wall next to the armor and the warpaint removed. I thought it went off rather well with awesome entries from everyone. So I was thinking about trying another one.

Even our warriors when trekking across Skyrim has come across areas in the game that you had to pause and take a look. Perhaps turn up the volume and listen to the ambient sound of insects, water... maybe that distant howl of a lonely wolf. That's what I want to see. Depending on the interest I will separate the entries from modded and the unmodded. or PC entries separated from the console. Should there be enough interest. Like the last one I want the emphasis to be on whats going on in the picture, what you see. Not necessarily the quality of the pic. We all play Skyrim on different setups/machines/consoles.

Same thing as before, people entering will be allowed multiple pics to be submitted. I am however cutting the number from 6 down to 3. Here are the rules.

1. You are to pick three Holds in Skyrim or a single location added by an official DLC. (Dawnguard and Dragonborn and Hearthfire)

2. From your three selected Holds or official added location by a DLC you are allowed to submit one picture from each location. Example being the Rift, Raven Rock and the Pale.

3. Your character is not the focus this time. They can be in the picture but should not be the center of it. Example being this one I won't be using to enter because its from an unofficial DLC. http://i.minus.com/iOytIrMtg2Jwf.jpgValeria my forsworn character can be seen in the pic but she is not the focus of the picture. The focus is the location.

4. And you may pick the same holds as other people. I'll leave it up to you if you end up showing the same location as someone else.

Is there a console command to make the camera move without moving my character? I've got a good location but can't get a shot without him being the centre of it.

Not particularly good shots, but I remember the precise moment when I took each one.

enter tfc in the console command and this will free the camera allowing you to roam it around. tfc 1 will freeze the game and free roam the camera for capturing stills of say combat and what not. Just re-enter tfc into the console command window to return the camera to fixed position.

Thanks. Hopefully, my Skyrim won't crash when I set it to Ultra for beaut screenshots.

I am getting a "This page can't be displayed" message for Michaelpk's and Resident's pictures.

we are both using Minus which has been plagued with server issues lately. The pics for both him and myself work on my PC but it doesn't surprise me if they don't load They should eventually (hopefully)

The Whiterun Hold one is actually my desktop wallpaper .

I always enjoy the view when approaching the city from that side. Come up over the hill by the standing stones at late afternoon... wow.
