Well, isn′t that the biggest ********** I′ve ever heard. Why even sell a physical disc if it doesn′t even include the friggin game at all?

The few games I have bought on disc that required steam would always start downloading instead of installing from disc. This includes NV and Skyrim. I eventually was able to install from the disc, but not before some googling and some other steps taking place. Popping in the disc just never worked by itself.

I wonder what might cause those installation issues. I've never had problems installing games from disc (Skyrim included), Steam only downloaded the missing bits and patches.
