Retaliation DLC is great !

Still too expensive for four maps only, all copy-pasted from the SP. And without paypal as payment, I won't even think about buying it.
really too expensive?, millions of people dished out $15 for the halo mappacks, which only had 3 maps, zero people complained, i think i see now why Crytek is abandoning our PC community, who would have known some of you were a freaking bunch of broke crybabies, its only $10, and the game,.. is,... not,.... broken, your guyz rigs are broken, and maybe your internet svcks.

You're under the illusion that PC users are svckers like console users. £8 for a map pack containing 4 maps is ridiculous.

Fine, let Crytek go purely console, especially if they make such a arse of their ported games like Rockstar did.

PC users have plenty of money, since we spend a lot on our rigs but we're not cash cows like console owners, who don't give a crap about what they buy and what state it's in. Speaking of crap ports, Brink was removed from Steam UK, which says a lot.

What made you think i'm not a PC gamer? Read carefully, It strikes me as odd most of the PC community wont pay for maps that arn't made by the community, oddly it almost feels like you guyz don't understand how this works, this is BONUS content, you don't have to buy it, nor is it mandatory to run the game, EA can give a rats ass if you buy it or not, Everyone that claims bugs, but cant pin point them, and most of the times, its the engine suffocating on the users hardware, for the people that have Leet systems, this game works 99.99% of the time. I think thats as good as the odds are going to get.

And another thing, you have retarded grudge against crytek because they made console versions, i guarantee that if the had made it a PC exclusive, and had not altered one thing about the mechanics, this would have been glorified by the PC community, as a side note, if they may have included the Dx11 a little eirlier, but what makes me laugh is that like only like 10% of us can handle dx11 with stable frames.

they already made an announcement that they guarantee you wont get hacked, and another thing, all REACH MP maps are direct ports of the single player, the DLC being the exception, and who cares if they are ports, they work.

P.S.- transit map is not a port, and neither is shipyard.

I marked the part, which is important here - the DLC maps for Crysis 2 are taken from the SP and are slighly modified to suit the MP better (just like all but two of the other maps). For the release of the main-game it might be fine to do so (espically when said maps are made to be large combats in SP - like in Reach) but NOT for a DLC - espically when they charge 10$ for it. For that price, a normal person would expect 8 to 10 maps done from SCRATCH (or maybe a few less when there is a lot work put into it - only existing example I can name is "Call of the Dead" from Black Ops as it IS the only existing example for such a kind of map)

Sorry, but according to your recent post I guess you don't buy this map pack yet.

And according to this blog message there is no Assault mode at all. That's why I'm asking about it players that already bought this map pack.

Does this map pack include Assault mode or not?
Is it possible to play Assault mode on these new maps?

P.S: Sorry if my english isn't perfect.

Why shouldn't they NOT include a mode, which requires nothing more than adding five points more or less randomly in the map? The mode which I would worry about is Crash Site as that would require a bit more work than CTR, Assault or TIA.

It's simple common sense I used - something that many people lack nowerdays.

Cause if you play that mode at least once you should understand that it's hard to balance maps for this mode. Crysis 2 has twelve maps and only six of them has this mode.

The mode which I would worry about is Crash Site as that would require a bit more work than CTR, Assault or TIA.
"Skyline" has "Crash site" but hasn't "Assault" mode.

Exactly, simple common sense tells me that if they didn't mention this mode earlier, these maps seemingly don't have it.

Paying for maps on PC.
**** your **** crytek, you're not going to release the sdk because it will cost you money, because instead of buying your maps they will download better ones for free.
Another developer who doesn't care about its fans but rather money.
Not to mention there is hardly any people playing online anymore.
You killed your company, blah blah money money.

The new maps do look amazing. However I will only get my hands on AFTER I see some sort of meaningful patch that fixes some of the current annoying bugs. music playing over itself on the menus. unlocks not saving. random server disconects, etc...

Fix that for me Crytek and I will gladly give you 10 euros for the 4 great maps.

Hmmmmm.........

Pre-ordered the game.

Played it, have a love hate relationship with SP.

MP was cool, till 3 days after release and the hackers came, and kept on coming.

Then the lag, and i thought BC2 takes the crown for the laggiest game in history (despite in game ping of 9 in C2 and 20 in BC2).

Uninstalled both games...

Just sitting on my desk gathering dust.

PS: I went back to Crysis Wars, still alive and kicking and doing very well actually.

Sorry for the negative feedback though, but i only spend money to DLC's if i like the game. Crysis 2 is not up there.

did halo also had such a terrible release where 3 months later 80% of the errors where also not fixed? i bet not.

your dumber then i thought our rigs are broke yeah when we run skyline and a laserbeam comes the server lags its all our rigs right?

thats why if i log into my isp server tool i can see that after the laserbeam hits the cpu usages of my rented server hits 90% but yeah its our rig.

also the stuck ceph gunship we had/have its our rig also.

keep on dreaming and keep kissing crytek there a*sses

GL playing on empty DLC servers soon

I can get both for about 3€ here - the DLC costs 10€... dunno but last time I checked, 10€ were more than 3€.

Heck, for 10€ I can buy COMPLETE GAMES.

Hey, instead of saying the same again and again, you better first play this levels from Retaliation yourself.
I believe you do it. Also you can't resist.

I would like to get the DLC but the game has unresolved MP issues, so it makes no sense for me to invest more in the game. It doesn't help that the DLC is a bit pricey for just four maps.

I'll maybe buy them sunday night, hope other payment methods are available and i'll also look how the servers are filled hosting the new maps, but if most folks are gonna wait till next patch i may do the same.
I just started playing MP last night so i still enjoy original maps.
