How the **** did this info get out and yet we've heard nothing about when this patch is out and what its fixing. This is **** disgusting. Anyone who buys this DLC is an idiot. Dont buy it then they will have to release it for free....dont encourage them....DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CASH.

only been around 3 weeks, grain glitch makes it unplayable for most still no patch and there allready have there dlc on the way to make more money for an unfinished game. its brown noses like you who let things like this become an everyday problem in the gaming world. what do they owe me.. i payed for a game cost me £40 if i had no internet with that grain glitch it would warrent a full refund due to being a broken product and under trading standard policys be unnaceptable. wipe the **** off your nose and go swollow your dadddys man sausage
That was a little too far. I see at least 200,000 people everyday in Crysis 2 on the xbox 360. The game is not "unfinished". It's people like you who make the forums terrible to view or search for some quality feedback. I get a grain glitch maybe 1 out of 50 matches. Why pointlessly complain? Stop trolling and posting for no g.od da.mn reason besides to get you hard. Thank you, have a wonderful day.

I get that those that are expiriecing major issues would not be getting the DLC. That is just common sense. But I have logged over 70+ hours of MP playtime and am having a blast. I have the occassionally laggy game or bug hear or there but if you think I'm going to pass up new maps for a game that I can't stop playing, you've got another thing coming. Unfortunately it seems that most of the people that are having issues are form counties other than the US. So region filterting seems like the easiest fix. Hope they sort it out for everyone. Mean while, I'll be owning it up on Crysis 2 every day. See you around.

I think it is a great game that I thoroughly enjoy. I don't think that because I and many others enjoy this game that it makes us yes people. Why should I apologize for enjoying a game whereas others seem not to. It seems so ignorant to bash people for their personal preferences on a forum. Either you enjoy the game or you don't. If not, then go play something else. It has become near impossible on here to find any helpful info on the game or anything constructive to enjoy. Forums have simply become places for complainers. My two cents.

Well I know i'm getting this
only been around 3 weeks, grain glitch makes it unplayable for most
This is kind of a stupid question but what is the grain glitch?
I personally haven't had any glitches or lag issues apart from twice there has been a 3 second framerate lag during an explosion.

I can only hope that you guys will give a sixy patch out with the Retaliation Map pack. For those of you who don't know about it. Really getting sick of Wall Street. lol Here's the info-

"Coming soon to all versions of Crysis 2 is the Retaliation Map pack, it includes four new maps that support all current games modes to date. It is confirmed that for the Xbox Live the DLC will cost you 800 MSP so similar pricing is expected on the other platforms. Keep checking back on the site for updates on this map pack in the coming weeks! Remember "Adapt. Upgrade. Dominate. Be the Weapon." Read more to find out the map names and more!

In the Retaliation Pack the multiplayer battlefield is expanded with four brand new maps supporting all game games - Park Avenue, Transit, Shipyard, and Compound. See you in the game!"

Thoughts on this?
First give us Dedicated Servers on Console then we MIGHT get the DLC IF WE DIDN'T LAG Tnx to your Rubish P2P system cause without it, Seriously itz like 200>300ms ping in P2P cause we are getting connected most of the time to the other side of the world.

Seriously CRYTEK would U play an FPS game with 200-300ms cause you are being connected to a Host in L.A which is ONLY 8300 MILES Away from Europe with Around 19 Hops/Nodes/Internet Bridges just to Reach the Host to find we have 200-300ms Ping :D LMAO I could Accept it if we were playing C2 10 Yearz Ago on a 56K Modem but i've got Fiber Optic and Rly Seriously the P2P System SUX BALLZ.

We need Regional Dedicated Servers First , eg a European Dedicated Server for European Players, Just like PC has Dedicated servers we need them just the same.

The description I read said that it will include 4 new maps and support all current game modes for 800 ms points. It said the map names but I can't remember. I think a cargo loading dock and some kind of park are a couple of them. Hope this helps.

I personally will not buy anything Crysis 2 related until a patch that fixes things is released. I am still waiting for a fix for the "grain" issue just so I can give the SP campaign a second play-through. :/

where is your proof that 300.000 people play this game everyday on 360?
there is less than 400.000 people on the xp leaderboard wich shows how many people have played atleast one game online not how many people are currently playing. so basicaly your trying to say that 99.9 percent of all people that own this game are playing online every day. lol

Always looked forward to seeing what map packs would look like on this game after playing Skyline and Pier 17 on the demos.....just hoping they dont use the COD method of releasing a patch a day before or day of the DLC Release....not prepared to put up with the issues until they want more money from players for their product

Anyone else thinking this is a wrong turn for the worse? We don't want Official maps... Not Yet. We want the Community Maps to get in development. We can break the mold only if we are given the opportunity. Please remember this fact.. Please enforce it. Hell I'd rather donate money to Crytek Directly if it means free maps. Please make a note of that.

Hopefully any new DLC will include support for Crash Site for all maps. I still consider it to be the best mode in Crysis 2 by far.

Agreed.

Wasn't Pier 17 the place where you first meet Prophet after having your submarine sink?
