Doesn't seem genuine to me. The levels seem pretty much identical to the SP versions, whereas in-game they're usually very different and often at different times of day. Also where are the enemies? Anyone with Photoshop and nothing better to do can superimpose the HUD on some SP screenshots, but it'd be a bigger job to convincingly put Nanosuited enemies in too.

May be real, but I don't think so.

I was gonna say lol you beat me too it

Oh look. Lets spend more money on maps that, yet again, are ported from the SP. If these were actual, real, intended, real multiplayer maps, I would think about getting it. Dear Crytek UK, I want you to get off your lazy asses and make actual, proper multiplayer maps, not just port everything the Frankfurt guys are spoon feeding up your face. Or if you so desperately want to do that, don't ask money for it. I mean for God's sake.

This is pityful. Absolutely desperate. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to spend 10 bucks on maps that I already have (with a different time of day). I'm just not. You would have to be mad to do that. Especially for a game that is so broken that it's unplayable.

Stop wasting time on porting SP maps and spend more time developing actual, decent netcode or something. This is absolutely ridiculous.

How the **** did this info get out and yet we've heard nothing about when this patch is out and what its fixing. This is **** disgusting. Anyone who buys this DLC is an idiot. Dont buy it then they will have to release it for free....dont encourage them....DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CASH.

I'm buying it....

How about not everybody has issues with this game and therefore we should buy it if we want?

The mentality that the game industry has adapted annoys me with a supreme passion. I'm all for DLC but the thing is a lot stuff released is stuff that really should have been released on the disk. What pisses me off the most is that (using Transformers: War for Cybertron as an example) some DLC is just a code to unlock stuff that is on the disk. I mean WTF!? I'm paying to unlock content on the disk I paid for!? Why cna't a game be released whole? Why do video games seem to be more money-focused today? I remember Capcom announcing DLC for MvC3 a week before the game's release!

I totally agree, with Resident Evil 5 they brought out DLC 2 weeks after release for a multiplayer component, when I looked at the size it was 1mb and cost 1200 MS points - I raged that it was already on the disk if it only took 1mb to add the MP content and I wasn't paying that much for something that was quite obviously already on the disk - traded it in the week after....
So you downloaded the $15 DLC for the $60 game and then, just like that sold the game?!?

No, I traded it in instead of getting the RE5 PvP content, but the release of content that was blatantly on the disk did make me trade it in faster then I would have normally. And I got the RE5 limited edition Red Console so the game was part of an alright set of games released with that Xbox deal.... Although I did trade in Halo Wars right off the bat to lower the price of the whole pack....

It's really sad that they did that with RE5. Especially knowing for a fact that they were shrinking their MP community by making people pay extra for it. Can't say I'm surprised tho.... money does make the world go around.

Crysis 2 was already on life support, and this DLC's going to essentially "pull the plug" if they charge for this.

And since when does maps in a game all have to be based upon SP? I mean come on.

Ugh. Only 1 of those maps doesn't seem to be from the Campaign. Why should I pay for something that's pretty much already in the game, only in a different time of day? I'll probably wait to see how those who ACTUALLY dared to buy it react to it.

The way i see it the only real way they should charge for this is if the maps are based outside of the single player Locations... or else its the same freaking assets on the disk that they are charging us to unlock. They should actually MAKE a map and then they have a right to charge for it not RE-USE it. there is nothing i hate more in the world of gaming more than incorrectly used DLC, when devs start trying to milk money from you.

And if they spent their last months of development making these maps instead of weeding out the bugs in the Retail release that would be a shame.

i still want stable servers, no connection issues and NO F*CKING HACKERS AND PIRATES on my Multiplayer before i even CONSIDER paying them MORE money.

Given that the new content is for the multiplayer, I would imagine EVERYONE would have an issue with it since the state of the multiplayer is more or less in shambles until they patch it.

Anyone who doesn't have an issue with it are the same people who can have fun with Ball In A Cup. Ya know...Toss the ball. Catch in the cup. Dump it out of the cup, toss it, and catch it in the cup again. The ball is on a string and attached to the cup, so it doesn't matter if you don't catch the ball in the cup, AND clean-up is as easy as catching a BALL in a CUP!

Ugh this game is by far not good enough to warrant spending extra money. The campaign was superb, but the multiplayer falls extremely short. We're having the same problems from the demo, no one can redeem their promo code yet and its almost a month now, cheaters are everywhere, weapons are unbalanced, they've haven't rolled out any patches besides for two, no friggin Ping kick, and the PC version can hardly be called a pc version. All the basic features that a proper game should have has just been thrown out the window. I had hoped I'll be getting better support, but it seems Crytek is going the Crysis 1 way and not supporting their games properly. Hell, this **** should be free.

i am never buying MP DLC because few people buy it at the first place ... I prefer SP experience more as DLC and free maps for MP...seriously we paid so much for games nowadays and waste more on MP DLC
