Hey!

Firstly, is retaliation any good? pro's & con's if anybody can do so!

secondly, is the game still alive? I love it but Gears 3's been holding my attention the past month lol

thanks for your time.

Yes.

Pros: My first game, Crash Site on Shipyard, joined late and finished 18-3 and MVP
My second game Crash Site on Compound finished 20-2 and MVP

Cons: I must have upset the enemy team.

And yes.

But I'm seriously now, the maps are a great addition to the existing maps, nothing like those already on the disc, and they look fantastic.
Not sure if it's really a con, but a couple of the maps are pretty big, and can mean a long trek from one end to the other if the enemy have control of the crash site. Great if you're winning, but frustrating if you're not. Having said that, it happened on some of the original maps too, especially Parking Deck.

Plenty of people in the lobbies tonight, and although quite a few had 2/3 bar connections it seemed smooth enough.

I got my monies worth after my first 2 games!

Ya I think they made the maps larger to demote camping and close quarters weapons(not that you can't use/do either). There is more long range weapon capabilities though. Also, transit is huge and feels like you need a vehicle to get around, but still sweet.

I like them all except for Transit. That one just doesn't look that good and feels sloppy.
